Anyone following the NBA PlayOffs? I am rooting for the Lakers to win. Surprised to see the Spurs go down to the Mavericks. Also be something if Boston chokes as well to the Bulls.

Not sure why not! I love putting my feet up and watching some basketball. I find it more exciting than watching baseball.

I've seen a few good playoffs games -- okay, just the 4th quarter -- during the playoffs. The games can be good. The NBA's problem, imo, is that you don't have to accomplish anything (okay, *maybe* a winning record) to get in. If the regular season isn't important, where over half the teams get in, that saps the momentum towards the playoffs.

I'll pull for a Denver/Cleveland final -- get some new faces at the top.

You are right about everyone getting in though.

Great game for Kobe last night. Good stuff. Artest was pissed. Some nice little scrums. I watched alot of Battier in the ACC a few years back, but it was nice to see Kobe in his face telling him he can't guard him. LOL. GO KOBE GO. I'd love to see the Lakers and the Cavs in the finals.

It seems like it's been a month (well, okay, only 9 days), but finally, the Cavs get to play again tonight!! :chugchug: :chugchug: Hopefully, they're not rusty, but I doubt that'll be the case -- it sounds like they've been beating each other up in practice and are ready to start taking it out on someone else. :twak:
