I hate the salary cap. Lets go back to the good old days of buying who you want. This NHL sucks. Pit sucked for 3 years and got the top 3 players in the league and still can't win. Baseball has it right, a luxury tax if you go over the cap. We need a soft cap. It is much better then the NBA cap. That league is f-ed up.

I agree Maddox. The rangers are going to be a bubble team for the next 2-3 years due to a hard cap. Most teams can only get 2-3 star players and cultivate fill for the rest of the team. One bad free agent signing will kill your team in the NHL.
