Question for you Mac techno wizards. I need a wireless router for my home. Two basic options here are Linksys and D-Link. Running an imac OS Leopard 10.5.7

Not looking for anything fancy, just something that will give me good speed and coverage in the house.

Wireless G? G+? N? B?

HELP! :dumb:

Just buy a cheap one. I would go with D-Link. I couldn't use my old linksis router with my mac. They don't get along very well. I've read lots on the net about that. D-Link had good success. I have a Dlink DGL-4500. As for all of the other G,N and so on. I'm sure you computer can do either. Just depends on what you want to shell out. I'd go with D-Link though, although I am sure there are linksys routers that will work with Mac. Mine didn't so I hate them.

Even with PC D-Link is better the Linksys, so go with D-Link.

Off Topic: How did the move go?

The mac routers are pretty nice but more expensive, I have one and it's pretty easy to configure plus you can hook up drives and printers to it (well not all printers, my kodak would not work)

But if I had to choose between d-link and linsys, it would be a d-link, I have a wired one as my main router and it works great.
