Ran out this AM and got the new update. I also picked up Time Capsule as we needed something to back up our computer. It took about 5 minutes to configure it and is now backing up 100 gig worth of stuff on the computer. Then I'll go ahead and upgrade.
Snow Leopard sounds pretty cool. Like having 7 gig freed up. Guess you can't say the same thing about Windows.... Anyway, I'll post an update once its finished.

Nope, I dont install .0 of ANY software, doesn't matter who its from. I'll let the Apple community flush out the bugs for a year or so, hell most of my machines won't even install the damn thing anyways, (G5s and older Powerbooks) all running system 10.4 and working beautifully. Wifes machine is the only intel chip in the house and it won't get upgraded till some software she wants requires it.
Congrats on makin the leap of faith though man, and cudos on the Time Machine, they're pretty slick.

I'm not worried about snow leopard either. I already have time machine up and running and backing up beautifully. Good luck. Hope you love it. I'm sure you will. As will most apple products you shouldn't have to worry about it being too buggy.

I just went out and got it too. Updating my wife's Macbook currently, then my machine next.

Mine fell on the floor and broke when the coffee table leg snapped (son). I'll get Snow when/if my Mac return from the shop.
