Started working out Aug 14 and as of Monday I am down 17 LBS. Haven't felt this good in years. I am doing mega cardio and medicine ball. No weights at this time.
Typically I run 1 1/2 warm up. Then a 2 mile speed interval training on the treadmill with a 1/2 mile cool down run and finish up with some medicine ball core excersises. Throw in swimming 1/2 mile 1 or 2 times a week and the fat is melting away.
As far as food goes, just not eating as much. Still can't kick the 2 to 3 cans of Coke a day. :) I like my Coke....
Now, the laundry is pilling up since I am gone 3 1/2 hours with drive time, but I FEEL GOOD!

Congrats on the weight loss.
Your workouts are 3.5 hours door to door?

I live out in the boonies, right next too timbuck too, and it is a 40 minute drive to get to the gym. Could find one closer, but this place has free childcare, a nice kid friendly pool, rockwall, full gymnasiam. 2 hours there, then 40 min. back to the house. Really eats up my morning and it actually helps me do at least a couple of loads of laundry a day as I have to wash my workout cloths.

Put on my first pair of 34" waist pants in 10 years yesterday! Entered a new "notch" on my belt too!

Matt, congrats on the weight loss. Believe it or not, I'm in the other boat. I'm looking to gain. I weigh about 135 pounds in a lead suit with two 10lb dumbells strapped to me, underneath the bag of cement that I carry. (I'm 5'6, so I guess I don't look as bad as my numbers do…)
Just went back to the gym on Tuesday. Hoping to gain five pounds within 6 weeks. We'll see!

Good job Matt. I was at 230 before I moved down here to FL. Now I am up to 280. So way to go Matt. I know it isn't easy.
