Goodbye national championship

[2nd time around]

Well my Ducks (Oregon) kissed next season, and any chance for a national title, goodbye yesterday. Coach Kelly suspended Masoli (QB) for the whole season and suspended James (RB) for at least part of the season. F-me, just when I thought things were finally gonna happen!

Well my Wolfpack is still in the running for the ACC championships (ncaam). So a dreadful season could turn happy with an automatic bid to the dance.

Ohio State and MSU are looking vulnerable in the Big Ten tourney, so Purdue may walk into the NCAA tourney with a 1 seed if they can hold it together.

Purdue football may actually qualify for a bowl this year. More than that, we'd be pleasantly surprised.

I didn't realize that Michigan State had lost already. Not that it matters now. Purdue looked like a YMCA team of five year olds against Minnesota. Ohio State played to a 2OT win. Hard telling just how bad Selection Sunday is going to be for the Big Ten.
