I will take this one since I have probably been there more than anyone else that I know of on this site. They were not booing the National Anthem at the Forum ( I know they call it something else but I refuse to). The music you hear is just a pregame tune they play when the Players come on the ice. The little Canadian kids that come out with the flags waving is one of the coolest things in sports. They come out first, do a lap or two waving the flags and stand by the gate where the Canadian players come out and stay there for the National Anthems to present who ever might be singing that night. They were booing Ovie. What Ovie did just might get him killed in Montreal. I bet he does not leave his hotel room after games. I would rather right jokes about Muhammad on South Park than do what he did.

Pretty wild ride of a playoffs thus far and most of the games I've watched have been a lot of fun. It'll be interesting to see if the Sharks can finally shake that playoff curse they've been carrying around.

What a piece of Euro trash garbage. It looked all too similar to Ovie's cheap shot (one of them). They said since he was a relatively clean player and so on that they were not going to suspend him. Also said since there was no injury. Well he could have broken his fricking neck. Does that make it better. Next time I go and shoot someone can I argue well, since he didn't die I should get off. Terrible. Of course he was allowed to stay in the game and scored the winning goal. Terrible injustice. Hope he runs into a stick in the end boards and ends his career. Cheap idiot.

Depends on your perspective, HF.

The Habs goaltending was phenomenal and the defense was very good at closing up lanes and getting sticks on the puck to clear the zone. It helped that the Pens played flat for most of the game and had a piss poor power play (0 for 6) but they started to find their momentum too late in the game by crowding in on Halak. That last goal pretty much nailed the coffin shut though.

BTW, WTF is up with Hal Gill dropping his stick all the time? Will he be back next year?

?? It isn't the first time in Montreal, which isn't really Canada. Get with the times old man. It would have been a huge party to be sure, none of which is seen down south. Craziness. But with insane drinking and Frenchies comes this. Knew it was coming.

Either way it is HUGE for the Caps fans to know that the team that bounced them for fun as a #8 seed, did one over on the Pens too. I always sort of root for the team that knocked my team out. At least have a good showing so it makes the beating seem okay in some regards. They really pulled the Pens pants down and laid it to them. Mike Milbury is the biggest A-Hole in hockey. I cringe just listening to the guy. He is so clueless. Look behind the Flyer's bench and you will see the guy he ran out of town a few years back who is now with his second team in the Finals. Maybe it was not the coach but the GM of the Islanders, Mike Milbury, at the time putting players through the meat grinder. Tommy Salo and Todd Bertuzzi come to mind of guys he trashed as Islander GM. They turned out pretty well once out from under Milbury.

The cup.....GLAD the blackhawks won.....Do not think I could deal with philly winning....all the games were great! I think it was really good for hockey!

Oh.....Hershey Bears won the Calder Cup.....BACK TO BACK Champs.....Too bad they can play in the playoffs and win, but the Caps can't.....maybe next year the caps can send everyone down to hershey then call up all the players that won the cup this year.....that just might work! haha
