I love hot stuff,never had one of these yet....Tempting ,but they are rating it 2x hotter than a habenero,WOW....anyone try one ??

Good Lord, how hot do you need it? I like just enough kick so as not to sweat or be in pain while eating. I do not like the burn or taste of the spices to hang around very long after I am done eating also.

No. I won't even look one in the eye. I know the ghost is the baddest of the bad. No need to read. I'll keep clear away from it. I would cry if it touched my skin. You can keep your ghost chili.

Love spicy food. 15 years ago I would have nibbled on that pepper. Not any more.

When I had an apt by myself, I was cutting a habanero w/o gloves on and wiped my hand in my eyes. I had to scream for my next-door neighbor to come help me flush my eyes out. I thought I burned my eye out. It was a good dish though. From Steve Raichlen's BBQ Bible, "Bahamian Chicken".

I made that mistake too,fortunatley it was closer to my cheek than eye,but still had to wash my face immediately.....I'm not even sure if i can find them in my little town grocer..i'll look though....If anything i might just blend one up and add abit to my salsa

Well,i got my hands on a few(actually a lady my wife works with got me some,and she warned me) and added some puree i made of it to my regular salsa....so i wasn't even really getting the full affect....it is without a doubt the hottest damn thing i have ever tried....i had to add the rest of the jar of my salsa to the mix i made just to barely handle it..i will not even be tempted to try this on its own...Now what to do with the rest of them

Nice one. Keep it away!! I forget the hottest ones name, but it whoops the ghost's @ss. I'll still with my girl chillies.

I had some ghost pepper hot salsa. It's great for making sure you only eat a couple of chips!

The ghost is hot enough. When it's that hot does it really matter. I just knew that the ghost wasn't the top dog as I had read about it months ago. Even posted about it on a BBQ forum I'm on. Way too hot for me. Mild green chillies baby. That or jalapenos.
