The other day at work my wife was sitting in a small private lunchroom with about 10 coworkers. She is not sure how it came up, but knows how it ended.
As conversations went on something about me came up and a MALE co-worker of my wife said "Are you sure he is a Man" refering to me. She puts up with this a lot in a MALE Dominated work place and has at times asked people to knock it off. This time however it was the STRAW that broke the camels back. My wife WENT OFF on him using everything from you have gone too far and crossed a line to your jealous of our situation... My wife is normally a pleasent person, but if you end up causing the "B#tch Switch" to flip... WATCH OUT... YOUR DEAD!!! She went off so hard that two other male co-workers were quick to point out they said nothing!! As they fled for their lives.
In her rant she also was nice enough to point out to him that he is smaller then her (Shes 5'6"& 130) and he's rather scrawny. She said maybe you should say that to my 6'3" 230 lb Black Belt Husband...
Later that day she received a e-card with an apology to her and me. The apology was very sincere and she responded back positively.
She also brought up the point that no one every talks down about all their spouses and no one would appreciate it so why would they think it was alright to talk down about me.
I dislike it when NARROW MINDED people feel they need to critize our choices for our families. I am very pleased at he defense of me and she will NEVER have to worry about a co-work of hers talking down about me... They are all scared now.
