My wife and I used to have two dogs and a cat and we survived the usual pet damage that goes along with that but I was not prepaired for the next statment. We often let Alex rome freely under the table as we eat and so forth but we noticed one pleasent evening that our 1 yr old bundle of happness was knawing on the furniture leg like it was a chicken leg. What the F#%^@ is that all about! And come to see later in the week he has been caught knawing on lamps, the corner of the couch or basiclly any thing he can wrap his little new teeth around.
He has teathing rings at his dispisal but would rather chew on funiture. I have never see nor hear of anything like this. Geez-o-flip my boy is a beaver! #-o

Mine put teeth marks on the freshly painted kitchen cabinet drawers.
I have 'custom cabinets' now....

Hmm. Just be sure to not stand still for too long or your leg may be next!
Dan, thats Leah's perfered chewing toy, either someone elses finger, shoulder, leg, arm whatever is near.
Jeff, isn't that what they call the "distressed" look?
Patrick, Leah likes gnawing on fabrics, thankfully not wood! :)

The distressed look was on my face!
As for the cabinets, I've come to accept the (unapproved) modifications to my handiwork as "character features" which add value on an emotional level....
It was that, or go stark raving mad.
I learned soon after jr came along - don't buy anything nice, expect everything you have is going to be broken, and nothing you clean is going to stay that way.
It's all part of that time delay bomb you planted when you and your wife said, "Hey, let's have kids".
