Anyone know about furnace/airconditioners?

The thing is leaking all over the place! I have checked the condensation hose and basic unit. All is clear and working fine. However there is a steady stream of water coming out of the furnace.

Is it worth taking the sides off of this thing and checking it out or would I be in over my head?

Does your furnace have a humidifier on it? If so, check for a valve to the water line and turn it off. It's quite likely your humidifier has sprung a leak.

What kind of furnace do you have (forced air, etc.)? How much water? Last summer, our boiler (for our hot water heat system) broke, and we had GALLONS of water streaming on the floor (in addition to fire and steam... man, what a sight!).
