Observation, The lower north east roof needs an eaves trough, it can be tied in to the adjacent down spout on the east side. that may help divert some of the water away from the foundation.

Easy there Dadaland. [-X
S'allright Don,
Dadaland rib on, man. Eaves are all in place, the only part of the "roof" you can see is a little stickieoutie thinger off our dining room. We live on a hill, so everthing from the alley and the neighbors yard is sloped towards us. The project is just meant to get most of it around the house and continuing its course, and its only phase one of two.
As to my lawn, you should see the college kid's next to it!
Hard to find the energy to mow after moving 6 cubic yards of dirt, ya know?
Cheers!

A little protective huh don. Just kidding. Looks good tony, If alot of water doesnt run off onto it, it would be a really good place for a nice flower bed. Put 5 or 6 different perrenials in there, and they will all bloom at different times of the year, you will always have fresh flowers to give to the wifey.

To stop some of the soil erosion.
Throw some grass seed down;rake it in,keep the ground wet for 4 days. I reccomend a shade fescue. Perhaps Poa-trevellis or a creeping red grass.
the latter will handel the traffic better...during your live band and beer tent party's ... O ya, don't forget to invite your neighbour.

You have to upload your pictures somewhere. I use www.shutterfly.com
they seem to be pretty good. I have never had any problems. After you upload your pictures to a site, open your pictures on that site, right click on your picture and go down to properties, click on that, the property box will pop up, and there wil be a url on there. copy that url and put it between the command prompts. Like this.
your url here without any spaces of course.

For another example, just go back up to tony's original post with the pictures, and hit quote. It will come up without the pictures and you can see how he did it.

Yeah, we seeded it right away after we were done with "fast and fine" its got five or six different varieties in there, kentucky bluegrass and a fescue or two as well if I remember right. Been keeping it moist since we seeded, two or three sprinklings a day, never soaking through...
If all the varieties take, it'll be the best part of our lawn
(The majority of the green in the back yard is creeping charlie... that and dog fertilized...)

Tony, no matter how good you think your lawn will look, it will never look as nice as these. (http://www.drbukk.com/gmhom/park.html)
Awwman, I think I woke Tara up laughing so hard! Those yards aren't exclusive to Mississippi either, I swear some of them were from MN too!
