Hello! Just dropping in and looking around. One boy named Frankie, he's 9 months old. I prefer Mr. Mom to SAHD. I'm a musician. I'm kinda ticked that I found this site after the fantasy football season started(there's always next year). Looking forward to perusing this site.

Welcome to the boards!
What instrument do you play? I play guitar, although with twins I don't play as much as I'd like anymore.

My old college roommate played trumpet and was part of the Rutgers marching band.

Was in marching band in high school. Never bothered with it in college, though if i went to a school that had one I would have done it I am sure.

Looks like I picked the wrong lifetime to leave Indiana! We used to live in Broadripple now we live in stupid, middle-of-nowhere Connecticut. It would be nice to be back there hanging with some Indiana Dads! Go Colts!

Ah, but what separates the men from the boys is those burritos as big as your head. If you can eat one of those, and keep it down after a night of drinking, then you have my respect.

I missed the burritos  damn, we ended up at the strip club the night we got loaded in broad ripple, so..... can't remember the name of it, I do know the classy chassis very well though, on 37 going north off of 465 on the southside
is Jackson street still a big place to booze it up? I remember it being bar after bar in the mid 90's, had a nice piano bar to drink at too :)

Jackson Street? How long has it been?
I think Broadripple is still king when it comes to serious drinking. Back in the olden days, I liked to go to The Vogue and watch Situation Gray. By the time I met my wife, and she was of legal drinking age, I was petty much done with the Broadripple thing. At that point, we began calling Mickey's (Carmel area) our home away from home. Then the kid thing happened and, well you know...
But Mickey's will always be my bar. I went in there one night while the wife was stuck in the hospital with the new kid. They still bring a pitcher out when the see me walking through the door. [-o<
We're spending the weekend at the in-laws, which is just up the street from the bar. I'm hoping we might be able to get the grandparents to babysit tonight and return to our old haunt with the rest of her siblings.

Chris from Situation Grey in now in a band called Gentlemen Caller. We play with them frequently. He's also playing in the Musicalfamilytree Fest with Uvula(formerly Fabric) which was his original music band while he did covers with Situation Grey.
