Here in PA we've have more than our share of drama over this. First Penn State has this scandal that will end up gutting the whole program now Pitt has had all of its coaches walk out on the team for greener pastures. Meanwhile the players get reamed if they sell their mementos to pay their rent. It sickens me how much money ruins the whole thing. :icon_mad:

PENN State is going down. All bad. No love for Joe "turn a blind eye" PA.

Lots of places are paying players and last I checked a great number of them, especially the good ones, we're getting a free education. If that's not pay enough I dont know what is.

I'm not talking about JoePa. That dead horse has been beaten. I'm talking about the University of Pittsburgh. 3 coaches in 12 months and the latest guy jumped ship without telling anybody. The AD told him he didn't have permission to talk to another school and the loser informed his players via text message from the private jet to Tempe.

It's all about money. Anyone who wants to harp on the "purity" of college sports compared to the pros is wearing blinders. The only difference is, in the pros, it's the players who make the money.
