Hello, I'm Katie and I am doing an oratory to take to competition on stay at home dads. My dad is a stay at home dad and I couldn't ask for a better parent. So, Thats how I came up with the idea. I have a few questions I'd like you to answer if you have time and you can add anything you want. You DO NOT have to answer all of the questions...only the ones you feel comfortable answering. Thank you.

Name:
Age:
Why did you decide to be a SAHD?
Number of Kids and ages:
How long have you been a SAHD?
What good things have you done as an SAHD that you think your wife/girlfriend would have NEVER done?
What bad things have you done as an SAHD that you think your wife/girlfriend would have NEVER done?
Do you think your kids have benefited from having you as an SAHD?
If so, How?
If you could go back, would you still choose to be a SAHD? If so, why?
Stories you would like to share?
Anything else you think I could use in my speech or anything else you would like to share?

Why did you decide to be a SAHD? It was decided for me, laid off one month before the birth of my first. It has worked well since then.

Number of Kids and ages: two kids, see my sig.

How long have you been a SAHD? 3 years

What good things have you done as an SAHD that you think your wife/girlfriend would have NEVER done?

Good questions, unfortunately I don't think I have any answers.

Do you think your kids have benefited from having you as an SAHD?
If so, How?
If you could go back, would you still choose to be a SAHD? If so, why?
In a heartbeat. Its been the best thing I've ever done. The pay sucks, but the benifits are awesome.
