My two-year old got up before me today and toddled into my room. I heard her bumping around, but didn't bother to open my eyes, as I pretty much know all the sounds. I heard her get into my nightstand drawer and didn't think anything of it--we'd emptied the drawers right about the time she started getting into them. About a minute later I hear a crinkling sound, then feel something hit my forehead. I opened my eyes and found myself staring at a pack of condoms we'd bought shortly after the littlest one had been born. I'd forgotten I'd put them in the nightstand.
Do you suppose she's smart enough to be protesting her little sister and any future kids we might be considering?
