Tag Team parenting....TOUGH!

I work full time and care for my 1 year old daughter during my "days off". My wife(also full time) and I are doing the "tag team" parenting due to our flexible shifts, and desire to keep our daughter out of day care. We do not share a day off, only have a few hours a day together, & are always rushed and exhasted during our brief outings.

I'd love to downsize, move closer to the in-laws and have my wife become part time to ease the stress(she's not so eager & her salary doubles mine). Does anyone relate out there?

My wife made like five times what I made so it was pretty obvious who was going to get the position of stay at home parent. I make the best of it by doing something I have always wanted to do. Write. Of course with our 4 month old and the wife home for summer I dont get much done. I suggest you to cut back to part time and pick up something you have always wanted to do and do it!
