Hi,
Just wondering how many of you use baby powder on your baby when diaper changing?
Thanks.

Haven't been using powder since my son was a newborn. One less thing to buy. We use scented wipes which seem to do the trick at "deodorising" and occasionally have used a diaper rash paste when needed.

never used baby powder.
I have a mild aversion to the smell... just something about it. Never used it. I've heard rumors of the talc getting in infants lungs and the like but don't know much about it.

I used baby powder a couple weeks ago, as I was thinking he was developing a diaper rash, and my wife told me not to use it for the same reason you said tony, I told her to throw it away if we are never going to use it, and she told me that she uses it. I asked her what the heck she uses it for and she said that she uses it for her "boobies" on a hot day so they dont get chaffed. I almost fell I was laughing so hard. The things you learn from a woman on a daily basis is amazing.

There's baby powder on the market ....less the talc, which is what you want to keep away from the little ones. Either way, don't use it much either.

I don't use baby powder either. Dr. Smith's Diaper Ointment is great for rashes. Kind of expensive but worth it.
