Any dads run a business at home

I was just curious to know if anybody else on the board ran a business or worked out of their home while staying home with the kids?

I moved out of my regular office and moved home to run my business when my son was born. It has now been 7 months and things are getting a little easier everyday but it is very challenging to say the least.

I was just curious to know what others experiences are.

Right now I have a few small time businesses I am running out of the house. They are all growing so I am curious to see what will happen.

The thing about internet businesses or running a business out of your home is that it takes time. And most people don't have the time. Before the business has a chance to succeed most people have to fold and go get a job somewhere.

As a stay at home dad and my wife making money to support us all I have all the time in the world. But I still try to do something every day of the week if I can towards the development of my business.

I run a business out of my home. I have 2 boys and started this site 4.5 years ago. :) I work in the late evening hours and not much during the day. answer a phone call or 2, maybe send a few emails but try and concentrate on the kids and get the work done at night.
