I'm new

Hello all. My name is Keith and I have 3 kids. I am divorced as of 2004 and I got custody of my 2 boys ages 7 and 4 now. In July of this year I am getting married again and we have a 1 yr old daughter.

Anyway, around Christmas of 2005 I started a website called www.daddyplace.com and I have been working on it ever since. I did a search today and found alot of other daddy sites that I am happy to say look good and have an active user base.
I know how hard it is on me to be a good daddy with work and helping my kids with school work and then work around the house it can be very stressful.

Right now I have to go open some matchbox cars and put some track together for the boys.. I hope to chat with you all later.

Well the new BSG is probably one of the best shows on TV. When you "ReInvent" Something things need changing. They have done a FANTASIC job of doing the new one. The Original was done rather CAMPY and the new one has a "Real" feel to it.

Coming this summer to SCIFI... Doctor Who!

Just got through watching BSG. I tivo it every Friday. I love that Fraking show. LOL

Next season will be the 10th season and 200th ep of SG1. Actually I have enjoyed a few of the new caracters, but am unsure of the ORI plot line. When I heard Ben Browder was coming the the show I had mixed feelings. FARSCAPE ROCKED! Overall I rather enjoy his character. I would have to say that SG1 is my 3rd overall favorite show. 2nd SciFi.

As for Atlantis I Tivo it as well, but at times feel cheated by the story lines. Still watch it and would be pissed to miss it.

As FOR BSG...WIFE AND I WATCH IT TOGETHER...She Loves It Too!!!! I think it would be cool to have the original Starbuck do a cameo as someone in the new Starbucks past. Dad, relative or something. I also hope they DO NOT destroy the PEGASUS. I have been listening to the Podcasts and they are rather cool.

We're glad you're here. I'm not SCI FI enought to decipher all the nomenclature on this thread so I will refrain from chiming in. I grew up in the 60's with the original crew of the Starship Enterprise and never made the transition to the next generation. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it when I see it and I read tons of science fiction as a kid (Ray Bradbury was a favorite) but I'm not what you might call "current". :wink: Welcome!!
