HaHa, we rolled out of bed about 9:30am. But then again my oldest boy does not go to bed til 10:00 :P I am a late nighter trying to catch up on work so I love late mornings.

I am a late nighter too. I am usually up past midnight. Ever since college and then working 3rd shift for 4 years I think of 10pm as early. My kids wake up about 6pm so I don't get much of a late morning.
Hope the weekend is nice!

I usually go to bed between 1:00am-2:00am. If the kids sleep til 8:00 O am good to go but earlier and I tend to drag my butt the first few hours. Luckily they sleep past 8:30 just about everyday :)
Tara usually goes to bed around 8:30 lately and up around 7 7:30
but its hard for me to deal with an early early rise, since I'm not a morning person.
oh well...
trip to the zoo and we ate lunch at Old Chicago with some friends, a good beer later and I'm all happy!
cheers again
Happy Friday all!
I get to sleep to almost 9A daily this Summer because of my son. Great kid (7 yrs. old). He gets up, gets dressed, makes himself some cereal, watches TV and when my 2 yr. old wakes up...he feeds her and they are good to go!
Yeah Son!!! It is going to suck when school starts! :?
Our friends came over and we spent the afternoon in the back yard watching the kids play (after naps) drinking beer and smokin' stogies! Ahyeah, what a great Friday!
Hope you all had a pleasant one, too!

I just bought the tower. I got it a Best Buy. It is an e-machine.
It has an 80GB hard drive, it has 512MB of Ram, and the processor is a 330 Intel Celeron.
It came with the keyboard, mouse, and speakers. I already have some nice speakers so I just tossed them aside.
The guy over at Best Buy that waited on me was not gonna get me out of the store easily. Man, he offered me this and that and "highly" recommended all this stuff.
I finally opened my wallet and told him I was paying in cash and said that I was only gonna have about $10 to spare. And that was to get gas so I could make it home and a Coke for the ride buddy!
Each time he "highly" suggested something else I pulled out my wallet and purposely repeated myself verbatim to see how many objections he was supposed to overcome before he started pushing my cart towards the checkouts.
He did well and went through the entire list on his clipboard like he is supposed to.
Anyway I am happy now! :D

Hehehehe! I bought my laptop at Best Buy and had the same thing. He tried convincing me that I had to pay $25 to get the latest drivers so that I would not get a worm form the web.
I was like, "Ok, let me get this straight, you want me to pay you $25 to do a windows update?" He says " Yes. but we don't go on the web to get the update, we update locally from our server. If you don't do it this way and go on the web before doing these updates you can get a worm or a trojan virus."
I said "Thanks but no thanks, I'll take my chances, I'm crazy like that." I feel sorry for those folks who are buying their first PC's or who are not too computer literate as they are gettign taken everyday for things that can be done for free.
I am still amazed at what they charge to install RAM... all ya do it plunk it in, fer pete's sake! I thought it would be funny to park my van right in front with a sign "will install componants for 1/2 the cost" and still make a killing on the saps. Too bad my consience would get the better of me...
Oh, and Don, yeah, really, they were stogies! :D :lol

Oh yea, people are getting their money raped from them.
If only people knew.
When I started getting into web design I began to realize the amount of money people scam you for. I went to one site that offered like $499.00 for 5 regular html pages. For 10 pages you got a discount for $899.00.

Man I can throw upo 10 pages in under a couple of hours.
Then they are like it will cost you more for PHP install. That is actually easier. Once it is installed you can create endless pages real fast.
People just don't know much about computers and Microsoft wants to keep it that way.
BestBuy salesmen are the best.
I have made TONS of dough off of them. I bought a laptop from them and while I was waiting inline to get my purchase, 5 people in front of me was getting handed the same crap about virus'. I just laughed and one lady turned and asked why I was laughing.
I told her this is what I do for a living and they are just making the extra buck when it can be done for FREE by any end user.
By the time I was done, I had business from 6 different people to install everything from antivirus to securing their computers. They said that they would rather deal with an honest tech than some low life. The salesman and manager was pissed.
To make matters worse....when I got my laptop..it was opened. I asked them why? The manager said that they need to activate the antivirus and ensure that they registered with Microsoft for XP to work.
I told them, try again and get me a new laptop...NOT OPENED or tampered with by anyone in the store! Of couse...the manager was already pissed at me for taking customers. :D

I bet if you email the picture to Don he can upload it to his server or some free photo hosting site.
Avatar is a fancy name for the picture underneath our names that you can see. You can add that in your profile. The link is located up at the top of the page in the middle.

Actually I am gonna be offering photo hosting in conjunction with my web hosting. I will be using digisolutions.org when I get around to building it.
