OK

Sunday was a really Grrrr of a day. I went to Home Depot and picked up a few shelves that I had cut to length. 11ft.

Well I was putting them into the van and lost footing and put a 7 inch scratch in the Passenger Side Dash.

Does anyone know how to fix this or how much something like this costs to fix?

It is not the end of the world, but my van is MY REALM.... seeing that scratch everyday just reminds me of my carelessness!!!!!!!!

I will take a pic today and submit it. I am pretty sure it is a vinyle material.

The scratch is on the passenger side next to the center console. To the left of the passenger airbag. If you were to just look at it it appears to be a PEN line. This really Pissed me off Sunday! It is kind of hard to see in the pics, but I think you get the idea.

Your anal :P An auotomotive store might have some stuff you put on, buff and out comes the scratch.

If you saw the ins and outside of my Van, you'd flip, salt from the roads, has not been washed off all winter, and I have moved so many times with the van, for my use and friends, that thre are lots of scratches, kids also put coins in the heater control for the back, can't turn that on but one click. It's just a van :P

Prior to having a child my car was my baby. I would take care of it like mad. Once I had a child, I knew my car would become a secondary thought. Occassionally she gets all cleaned up but its one of the farthest things on my mind. With us starting to look into moving the cold fact of my car being as big as a can of water chestnuts would make things a bit impossible. "Hello, U-haul" lol

The picture really does not show the scratch well. Looks like a BLACK PEN mark...

I am a little on the Anal side, but the van is my realm. It needs a good wash and inside clean. We have had a bit of rain lately so it has helped clean the outside off.

A scratch is a mark of pride! That was one thing I loved about my old Jeep -- the more dirty or scratched up it got, the better it looked.
