We need to start this up. What do you guys think?
PS - I think our wives would kill us if we attempted somethig like this. :P

Sounds great though!

Same here, but the best policy is not to tell them what you are up to. Actually that could backfire and get ugly!
But, I play it off as I never knew I was gonna be the CFO and Chairman of the biggest father's organization in the Western Hemisphere attitude.
Well, we need to have Don lead us if that is his intentions of his website. Then we start making flyers and newsletters and get a mailing list and memberships and oh the grandiose ideas are just a flyin today boys....

That's the problem! When I get drinking I return to normalcy.
I'm telling ya... the grandiose ideas just jump out at me.
I still think we should do something... but maybe not attempt such extreme goals as a National Fathers Coalition....
What would be kind of nifty, and I've actually thought about this, is having a "business card" that you could hand to another sahd if you see him. I don't know about you guys, but even though I'm a gregarious fellow, ya just don't go up to another guy and start chatting like the ladies do. But something like, "hey, you a stay-at-home-dad?" "yeah?" "check this out"
as you hand him a card with this url on it and a title or some such.
Not so ... oh, I don't know... touchy feely? but still expands the ranks!
thoughts?
(by the way, I have to find the clinking beer glasses smiley, it would be ideal here!)

Hey, that is a good idea! Most SAHD would appreciate that I think. I think it takes a certain someone to truly be a SAHD and that type of person willing to stay at home for their kids would defintely have the heart to take a business card with that type of info on it.
Any other good ideas?
