View Full Version : More Poop

My daughter just brought me an Easter basket from this past weekend. She had thoughtfully placed some of the poo from her diaper in it for me. How nice!

Add to that my son, who is delivering two huge, messy poo's each day. They are big and soft, and migrate immediately to get all over his parts. He is also in the stage where he has a fascination with his parts and grabs them whenever he's naked. So every diaper change I have to try to hold his hands, and his legs, and wipe. I don't have enough hands, so he almost always gets a hand in the poo. I need to make a "rack" to tie his little butt down so I can change him without having to call in an EPA cleanup team afterward.

very thoughtful kids you have there!

My son is in the stage where as soon as his diaper comes off his finger goes right up the nearest opening.

I give him things to play with that require both hands but he almost immediately drops it in favor of digitally exploring his insides.

Its either that or flail his legs around yelling "kick daddy!!"

One of the things that I learned quickly was that if I keep the boy's socks on while changing his diaper, he will put his foot in the poo. Socks off, no poo. This happens as surely as the sun rises in the morning.

Similar to the socks, we find that as soon as we change the diaper pad cover is when he has one that creeps up the back of the diaper and leaks out onto the fresh cover.

Also, I'm not sure what the wife has been giving him for dinner recently, but after his first big morning poo, his butt is stained orange. Oh well, better carrot bottom than Carrot Top  .

Hey now! Both my kids are carrot tops! And after carrots, they are carrot bottoms too! :)

I'd also like to confirm the socks and changing pad theory and add one more: The explosive, leaking diapers always happen in the "nice" clothes and always stain those clothes so badly that they require a week-long soak in a bleach solution to remove. So whenever I don't want a big mess to clean up, I ensure they have the oldest, rattiest clothes on.

And if my daughter is wearing anything white, the only thing she wants to drink is grape juice.

SGT - Sorry, I didn't mean carrot top as in redhead (because my son is getting some red hair from his mother), I was referring to the comedian.

Yeah! The former spokesman for AT&T "dial up the center ad campaign". Wait, they almost went under and were bought by a baby-Bell.

See! There's a baby reference in there....

AT&T was bought by SBC or SouthWestern Bell or something like that. I don't know.

Wait a minute.... this is supposed to be about poop, right?

Only one bad poo ordeal on my watch so far, my daughter figured out how to get her sleeper, diaper off, poo on two walls, the crib the carpet, her exterior, all orifices, and some awful close to her eyes.

The wife has had the black tar splats on her arms with both kids, peed on, the runnies, volitile/projected poo too.

Here's hopin' for more luck.
