Sorry to hear about the marriage. Been through it twice myself before I found the lady of my dreams (been married now for 11 years). The kids situation sucks for sure.

Great going on the job finding!! Maybe this is all for the best. Who knows, the divorce has not gone through and things sometimes change with time.
