Hi all,
I have a bit of a problem. I want to email this interesting article to a bunch of friends. It is 6 pages long with some colour photos.
Problem is, the pdf file is too big to for my provider too send.
Can you recommend a free zip program I can down load, or since it is a pdf file, can I "split' the file into 2 or 3. Then resend in in 2 or 3 emails. If so how can I do that?
Thanks for your help.
Steve

Winzip used to be free for 30 days and is an excellent program.

rar, imo better than zip and can compress the files much smaller than zip

have to agree with Bollux here... Winrar is superior to Winzip... you can find it almost anywhere...

I don't think PDF's can be compressed much. I'd upload the file to a free file-hosting site and then send your friend an email with a link to it.

This is the best option for sending files that are too huge to email.
