Hi guys,

So we noticed some little pimple-like things on our little dude, and took him into the doctor. Diagnosis: molluscum, a kind of viral wart. The good news is that there's no real issue with them - they are technically contagious, but nearly everyone is immune. The best cure is to just leave them alone. The bad news is that he might have these from anywhere from 6 months to a few years. They don't bother him (no itching or pain or anything), they are just a little ugly.

Has anyone had to deal with these? Just curious.

My son had two little pimple looking things on his pecker, my wife wanted to take hime to the doctor, I told her that I didnt think he needed to go to the doctor for pimples on the penis, but we took him anyway, and that is exactly what the doc told us. That they will eventually go away, and his body will build an immunity to them. This was two months ago, and they are gone now.

Thanks for the feedback. Our dermatologist made it sound like this was very rare for babies this young (no worries, just uncommon). But that fact that you all experienced it some makes me think it is more common. That's nice to know. Cool, thanks!
