I hope you don't mind a post from a mom. My husband is an at-home dad and I learn how to be more sensituve to his situation (home alone all day with two kids) from reading what you guys have to say. I just wanted to share a funny story from our son. My husband and I switched roles at the beginning of the summer. Because I had a new baby in June, I stayed home for a couple months while my husband took a temp job. One morning as daddy was getting ready for work, our 4 yr old son said to his dad "you're a mommy now". We asked him why and he said it was because daddy was going to work and he added that mommy was now a "daddy" because she stays home. Our children are growing up with different views of the way things tradionally work and I think it is great! Keep up the good work guys - you are doing a hard! but oh-so-important job.
I for one don't mind the input! What an awesome story. Think of how much more rounded your childs view of the world will be from experiencing this! Kudos to you and your husband, its a tough job!
Get him signed in, too!
(Although, I don't altogether know if I'd want my wife reading all my posts... ;) )
:D
You are more than welcome to share your stories. We SAHDs might even learn a thing or two that we have not figured out. Have your hubby sign up for the forum, we might have some insight.
We have some vets on the site! Very helpful and very insightful!

Hi hannaros, glad to hear from a mom praising us for the work we do, most other mom's dont seem to have the appreciation like you do for the work we do, or at least in my experience. It is nice to see a view from the opposite side of the gender race every once in a while.
And Tony, I agree, I share some of the posts with my wife, but tell her this is kinds like my Diary, I dont read her diary, and she cant read mine. But even if she did, I dont think I have incriminated myself yet.
