I'm not sure if I'm doing this right but here it goes. I'm a father of five three full time two from a previous relationship. They go Jenece 13, Conor 11, Selina 7, Katrina 6 and Duncan 4. I've been a stay at home dad since just before Duncan was born. I'm married to a wonderful woman named Nichole. Together for 9 years married for 7. I'm 32 studying to become a writer. A hunter, avid reader, collector of books, knives, dvd's, cd's, playing cards, video gamer. Selina and Katrina are going to be starting dance classes. Just a bit about me and mine.

Welcome Chris, I am an avid fisher and hunter, I still fish all the time, but since I moved from Iowa out to philly, I have no place to hunt anymore. I grew up on a farm in southern Iowa, I had more land to hunt on then I knew what to do with. I used to hunt every weekend as long as something was in season.

Sounds like you have a very nice family, welcome to our little world.

Hey, welcome aboard, post away! I used to know the dangerous end of a rifle, even pointed one at a deer now and then. Done a little bird hunting too. I even know where my fly rod is, though I haven't used it in two years. :(

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I found the site a couple months ago but have been busy and the wife has been working a ton of ot this week so I finally got a chance to do something with this group. I'm glad to see other outdoors man out there. I have one question what is this avatar and how do you get a picture on? All your kids are adorable. Thanks again

Good one Louis. Tater Salad huh.

Had my gun out yesterday, .22/20 over and under was my grandfathers, fireing of a few rounds. Sighting getting the feel for it. Never used it yet for hunting. Small game season starts the 15th. All my kids are excited. I have two days a week I'll be able to take Duncan and two I'll be able to take Katrina,6,and the weekends for Selina. Just have to get enough money together for boots for the kids.

Selina, 7, wanted me to let her shoot. I hated telling her no so I got the bb gun out and helped them shoot of a few rounds. They love it. My girls are almost able to handle it by them selves. Duncan, 4, still needs help. I have in the laying on their stomach position. Just have to get them to use the sights. Glad I have three acres.

Going to go almost ime for Nikki to get home.
