I got some work around the house done, got to light the grill twice, fry both my kegs, brew two more batches (yeah, nothing going until they are ready, isn't that a bummer?)
Now I've got to catch up on the chores before tomorrow.
How was your long weekends?

not a bad weekend except for the terror on 2 feet. My oldest has been quite the handful.

Had a nice BBQ saturday and a few beers with the neighbors. Hung out with our future neighbors last night, nice folks (moving to a new neighborhood in a month) and hit a local carnival and party today. Now I'm tired, need rest :)

Ours was fine. Got lots of work done. Just saw some friends (and learned they are most likely moving cross country soon :(. They have a little girl Jackson's age, so it was fun to compare war wounds.

But man, oh man, I am wiped out. Over the past week, my wife and I just lost all our energy. We have been pushing ourselves so hard for so long. We just hit that psychologically-huge 3 month goal, and I think we just collapsed. I feel like I could sleep for weeks (but THAT won't happen). To top it off, I have a bad case of allergies, so I just feel like a wreck. I need a second wind. Or is that a 102nd wind?

Even as a 4-day weekend, it went too fast. As planned, I grilled every day but Friday. Smoked a pork shoulder, some prime rib, a turkey breast, and pork ribs. Had family over for dinner Thursday night. Took the baby in for here 9-month check-up (everything's fine) on Friday. Stayed home Friday evening and watched the Colts game. Took the lazy way out for dinner and had Skyline chili.

Saturday was housework day. I finally gave up on the kid that was supposed to mow my lawn on a weekly basis. He'd approached me back in July wanting to trade mowing services for paintballs. I guess it was a too-good-to-be-true deal, as he mowed once and hadn't been back until last week (the day after I mowed).

Sunday, we had a friend and his wife over for dinner. Went pretty well, the wives watched Hannibal and Red Dragon, while we kept ourselves busy with the grill and beer.

Labor Day, we had one of my wife's co-workers and her family over. She also brought along her daughter's boyfriend and two of her "foster kids". One of my teammates and his wife also showed up.

Tonight, I started on a heavy essay on freedom of religion. It's not for anything specific, I just have some stuff I need to vent about and I think I've found an angle that should frustrate a few people.

Well thanks for asking Tony, lol Mine was pretty good, I completely finished my daughter's room, I ended up gutting her closet completely and rebuilding my own shelf system in their, it works much better now, and looks better to. Went to my wife's sister for a bbq on saturday, drank some heinekein, and played cards till 1 am. Other than that, I didnt do anything exciting.

Another weekend, another hurricane. It was way too wet to try and grill. We did find a Chinese restaurant that was delivering on Sunday, which was the most exciting meal we had all weekend. A good number of the other restaurants in town were not even open due to the weather. I was very glad to get the kids out to school this morning after being stuck in the house for four days. Though we did manage to make it to the mall yesterday for a sale on kids clothes.
