And no, I did not get lucky!

Man I\Am I dragging he old rear end around today. I'm a late nighter, usually in bed after midnight, closer to 1, which is usually ok cause I get nap time during the day :)

But last night, Argggh, my oldest was up at 1:00, can you take me to the bathroom? He's scared of the dark. Then the youngest up shortly after that, crying, needs BaBa. 4:00am oldest wakes up and continues to open and close his door asking us one thing or another for the next 45 minutes at 5 minute intervals. Boy we were gettting mad, "Can I sleep on the couch and watch TV." No! (this is a bad habit he had over the summer) I feel tiny bugs crawling on my face, can I sleep on the couch?" No! I say, sleep with mommy and daddy. Gets in bed, we shut the lights off, "I'm scared!" Arghhh, needless to say it was a long night.

I hope he's good at school today.

Sounds like a rough night.

This summer in our house it was like musical beds all night. One of the three kids would start in at 2am and so one of us had to go in and lay down with them and then another starts in and so the other goes and lays down with them and then it is sneak back to your own bed only to get woken up at 3:30am to another one.

ah well........

Don, I hope you get a chance to rest today.... We used to have lots of nights like that, thank God no more. The house we used to live in had, um, things that roamed around, day and night. Even my 12 year old daughter would get freaked out to the point of screaming in the middle of the night for us to come rescue her. She would be frozen in bed, too scared to move. Since we've moved out of that house, we haven't had any episodes like that. That place was - wierd, to put it mildly...

Damn Don..sorry to hear about your night! Hope you get a chance to get a break today.

Here is how my day is planned out for the kids. Son heads off to school and daughter gets her bfast. Then the normal play, clean, and entertain until 11A. By 12P, daughter is off to lala land for 2.5 hours. Yes, I have it down to a system.

During the time she is down, it gives me a chance to play a little GW for about half an hour, then I am off to lala land myself... My phone rings at 2:30P to remind me to get up and get my son! :D

Homework.....video games with my son and start on dinner! I get a LITTLE rest EVERY day! BUT....you have to be very :-$ I do not need the wife to know!
