Hey guys, what happened? The other day it took my over an hour to catch up on all the posts and now its ghost town time!
Hey, hope you all enjoy your weekend! Guess what I get to do? I was asked to volunteer for a brewfest, of course I said "yes", and its this weekend. Got a training session tonight, followed by a warm up session ;)
and then the event is tomorrow afternoon/evening. I get to be surrounded by craft/micro brewers for 6hrs! =P~ oh yeah... that and I'll probably have a sample or two ;)
I just hope to pace myself :partyman:
cheers

Now, if you could just find a way to get PAID for it (overtime would not be a problem) we could ALL have a job! :drinkers:

Hey TT3,

Been boring here today. It's raining like crazy. Remnants of Ivan, so they say. I've not been feeling well, plus trying to work on a friend's computer and setting up a forum on my website. I checked in here a few times and thought the same thing, "ghost town!"

Very cool about your opportunity. Once when I was about 16 I went to the Buffalo Brew Pub with a couple of fellow Amateur radio operators who were older than I. I swear I didn't drink anything but Coke, but I ate some chicken wings and got real sick. To this day my mother is convinced I went out and got drunk... Truth is, I've never been drunk in my life, but I've had a lot of fun watching other people do it. Used to go to beer parties when I was a teen and never drank anything. I just watched everyone else get drunk and try to pull off stupid stunts and then I'd poke fun at them about it the next day.

There, that's my story for the day.

Then there was the day I went to a pool party and the girls dared us guys to skinnydip...

Brew Fest!???

Man... you get asked to volunteer... what a horrible life you must live...

Yeah, the only tragic thing is, there are some 30 breweries with 3 or more beers to sample. There's no f'ing way I'm going to be able to sample all of them.

Hey TT3,

Truth is, I've never been drunk in my life, but I've had a lot of fun watching other people do it.

And you have kids??? Did you know why alcohol is legal and pot isn't? 'cause it's essential for the continuation of the species. You've gotta get at least a six pack in them before they believe half the crap you're sayin'... The other stuff just maked you stupid and goin for the munchies (or so I hear)

Well I drink, at least I used to. I'm really not supposed to anymore... I just don't get drunk. Never liked how it (getting even a slight buzz) made me feel and it's probably because my heart defect is hereditary and it affected me from childhood.

Anyway, I'm the patient type. Schmooz them and woo them and act like you're actually interested in them, not just sex. Takes a little longer 'til you get some, but well worth it...

LOL at this board... It turned $ex into "fun"... Probably a default filter since "damn" and a few other words have been prevalent here...

Boob is a great word.

You can even write it on a calculator. You can even write Boobless.

Type 55378008 and turn it upside down. Had to teach my daughter that so she could show her friends next year when she goes to kindergarden...

corporal punishment has gone the way of the dodo in the States.
Sometimes it'd be nice if it were legal in schools... (teacher in my talking now)

It was ok when my older brothers were in grade school though, they had some tales.

As a kid, I liked church....

It was a weekly reminder that there was something worse than school....

I've got to bring the van in tomorrow, stupid tierod end bumping and making me nervous. I wonder, are they designed to fail around 50K miles?
seriously, I had the passenger side replaced about three months ago, now its the drivers side.
makes a very distinctive clunk too. :(
