Hello and welcome to the world of the pscyho one.....ohh wait a mintue... i am in your world now, and i am Freakin....Freakin....

Okay here is the 411.....i am a dad soon to be second time around dad, my dsd is 7 and lives half with us (my wife and me) and half with her mom. My wife is having a baby in dec some where around the 31st, i believe she (yeah its a girl or so they think) will be born around the 23rd.

i am going to be the stay at home dad... hence the reason i found and am now active in this web site. i will be going to school and a full time dad WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

After my oldest was born (to make a long long and rather nasty story short and sweet) and for the next four years i saw her only occasionall as her mother was off in the world doing God only knows what and yanking my daughter with her.

So now here i am rather freakin about the stay at home and being in charge part of this wonderful time in my life.

I am 36 year old student at NMSU in Las cruces. I coach soccer a girls team called Double Trouble, i coach with my dad. My Wife is a Nurse at one of the local Hospitals. Until this april i worked for a company in town called tresco Inc, they fired me when i hurt my back and was unable to "perform to thier standards," even though those stanards had never been held to me or any one before. i am looking for part time to full time work if it is work from home. My wife and i are both set on me being at home for at least the first year of our daughters life. The biggest part of my life is My Belief in GOD and his son JESUS, that JESUS came and died for my sins and that i am nothing with out him. I believe JESUS is coming back for me soon and until then i just live my life the way he shows me.

like i said i am freaking cause it is all so new to me... and babies kinda of scare me..... = : >

any help is wanted and needed.

in JESUS,
psycho

Babies used to scare me too... lol

First off welcome to the site! :D

Second... congrats on the upcoming baby. My wife and your wife should be popping out a child within a few days of each other. Hope nobody starts a "who pops out the baby first" contest. It could get ugly!

Welcome to the site. :D

I'm a fairly new member. Two days to be exact. I'ts nice to hear that there are other stay at home dads out there.

Las Cruses huh? I had family in El Paso and used to pass through Las Cruses. My dad is an alumni from NMSU. Hey, we used to go eat at La Posta. Is it still there? They had pretty good food. It's been years since I've been there.

Bye for now....

Welcome!

Babies are no sweat! They are the easiest when they are babies. You can still put them down somewhere and they will be there when you come back from the bathroom. :P

Hey PC,

Good to meet you. Congratulations on your soon-to-be new arrival. You'll do just fine with her.

I bet $500 that I have no clue who's baby will be born first...

I remember those days! :D

You can set the child down, go make yourself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, come back and the baby is still right there where you left him.

Once they start crawling it is not that simple.

La Posta is still there in old mesilla, and still one if not the best in Town or any where else for that matter.

What is so weird.... oh by the by thanks for all the responses and the encouragement... they are needed and well recieved....so back to the weird... i have worked around babies and kids my whole life.... and my sister in law just had one in may.. his name is Austin.... cute kid we get along great... and it took about two months before i would pick him up and now i always want him when we are around them. But with my kid its weird.... i know the scared feeling wont last... and things will go smoothly... God would never give me a kid and have me stay at home if i wasnt ready... God would have given me the great job and given my wife the desire to stay at home..... (dont read that wrong.. she want to be there for the kid....just hates to do house work. )

well once again thanks for the encouragement... and talk to you soon.

in JESUS,
psycho

Talk about a small world. I still have family that live in El Paso. I still call that my home!
