Recipe I threw together from trial and error.
Take whole chicken, rinse and put in foil-lined pan.
Make a "paste" out of - (measurements all approximate)
olive oil (1/4 cup)
salt (1 Tablespoon)
garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
onion powder (1/2 teaspoon)
paprika (2 teaspoons)
black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
add more olive oil if necessary if too thick...
Spread paste on chicken
Cut up Red potatoes in quarters, carrots, and squash and put veggies in bowl and sprinkle rosemary liberally... set aside in fridge for later.
Cover chicken with foil and bake in oven 350 degrees for app. 50 minutes... Add veggies around chicken in pan and sprinkle more rosemary to chicken and veggies. Cover pan in foil and cook for 50 more minutes at 350 degrees. Check chicken temperature occasionally near end of time (180 degrees interior temp is done for chicken) and use fork to check for desired doneness for veggies.
