My best friend

A couple of weeks ago my wife had the day off so we took our daughter out to a local lake/beach and my daughter (Alison - 2 1/2) and I went in the water and made sandcastles for a bit. She got cold and started shivering so we wrapped her in a towel and sat her by her mom for a bit while I swam.

Afterwards my wife told me that when I swam off Alison asked her, "Where's my best friend Daddy?"
