Woo Hoo! It just dawned on my to sell computers on ebay. My first item is located at:

http://cm.ebay.com/cm/ck/1065-29296-2357-0?uid=53201213&site=0&ver=LCA080805&item=180023634879&lk=URL

I am tech support (no funny accent here) and hopefully I can sell enough of these regularly to make up the difference in income when we adopt our foster child.

Good luck with it. My brother owns a retail store and is actually phasing out his "store front" because so few people actually walk in for a system. Hopefully they're looking online instead!
(His bread and butter comes from network installations and upkeep.)

Part of my job is to maintain our ebay store. It allows me to earn extra money while at home before I do the kid swap and go to work at the actual store.
Here is our store:

If you have any ebay questions let me know. Good luck!

Yeah. Why so F&*^ING long for an item to show up after you list it? Is a store hard to set up? Does it cost money?

Some of the happenings at ebay truly leave me perplexed!
The ebay store is easy to use but it can be costly. You are charged a monthly fee, so if you have no sales for a month you lose money.
We do OK and really just use it to help sell inventory that manufacturers make us buy 6 months in advance to get prices we can compete with.

Side note-if any of you guys need any equipment, send me a message and I can give you the SAHD 20-30% off discount (s/h not included).

When ebay raised their prices last year, alot of people got pissed and jumped over to yahoo and overstock auctions. They do not get the same traffic that ebay does but cheaper.

Is under armour included in that discount :) That stuff is nice to wear but pricey.

Craig Do you have any notebooks. The wife would like to get her own. She is saying it is for work but I know she would like her own.

I do seel them. The cheapest one I can get is $648 for me, so I'd like about $675 if you can also pay shipping.
This is debatable; you could axe Windows and get Linux, get 512 RAM instead of 256... There's a bunch of stuff you can swap out/in. So that you know, Linux with 512 RAM would run you about $645. More ram, better OS, can't go wrong there

Like on my ebay item, the selling point would be tech support in Maine, rather than India :)

I am the tech support. And if something warrants ME calling tech support, I get to call Massachusetts, not India. :) :)

This includes a three year parts/labor warranty, but no accidental damage coverage. That coverage jumps things up to about $900...
