Hey Ripsaw

I've got a 2004 Honda Shadow. Lot's of fun. It's not a very big bike(750cc), but it suits me just fine and I like the style/feel of it.

I grew up riding dirt bikes, but this is my first street bike. I purchased it when my wife was pregnant this spring. She was pretty good about it. I guess she wanted me to have something of my own before the baby came (last toy sort of thing).

Have put about 3000 miles on it this summer. Before I quit my job I was commuting to work with it. The gas mileage is great (50 mpg) but that's just an excuse to ride :)

How many bikes do you have? I'm assuming you probably have more than one because I think you mentioned building them yourself. My dad use to restore the old British bikes (Norton, BSA, Matchless) so I know how addictive it can be.

Hi J Monkey ,

That shadow is a fun little bike It has good power and looks like a harley.
At the time I only have one Bike do to all the repairs and custom work I have been doing to other people's bikes & ground up custom bike builds. The funny thing is my bike doesn't run yet cause I haven't had time to finish putting back together. It is a raked out custom chopper I strechted the down tubes 8" and the back bone 6" it has a strechted out springer custom hand made strechted gas tank, custmon rear fender,it is a rigid so I made a custom air ride system under the seat for a little cusioning on my back,I made custom bars. The bike when it is done is going to be sick looking. It has a 96" shovelhead eng. with racing head 4 plugs,550 lift cam it should put 115hp at the rear wheel.i put close ratio 5 speed tranny. It is wild!! The bike is 8' 9" long. well have fun on the shadow and keep the rubber down! talk to you soon
