How true it is! I had my 7 year old son read your post to me and he did so without a problem.

And a kick in the head is...if you misspell a word in school it is wrong. Even if you spell it like it sounds!

I studied this stuff back in college -- psycholinguistics and cognitive psychology -- all pretty darn cool stuff.

But what has happened to this forum? Topics like "The Human Mind" instead of "Beer!"?? Are we becoming cultured?

"A remedy [for masturbation] which is almost always successful in small boys is circumcision..." The operation should be performedby a surgeon without administering an anesthetic, as the pain attending the operation will have a salutary effect upon the mind, especially if it beconnected with the idea of punishment..." John Harvey Kellog, M.D., Treatmentfor Self-Abuse and Its Effects, Plain Facts for Old and Young, Burlington,Iowa; F. Segner & Co., 1888.

By the way, this is the same Dr. J.H. Kellog who invented the corn flake...

Only this group could go from a topic like "The Human Mind" to beer so quick. I salute you!
