Am I to assume that few posts in this section mean everybody's rig is running smoothly? C'mon guys, there's free advice to be had. Maybe everybody IS fine.
If I charged for forum support, you think I'd make a killing on the SAHM forums?
See, its gotta be really f'ed up before we're willing to ask for help, whereas on those other forums... nah, I won't go there.

I build gaming computers, used to do networking for a living, and went to school for programming, IT, and electronics so don't have to ask for help with stuff that plugs in much. hehe. ;)

All my computers are fine. My last job was computer networking so I still have people call me. I even have a VPN to my moms house so I work on her pc.

Check the router and see if is has any timeout settings.

My home pc works fine, the work one next to it works fine... However there are a few issues I have that can not be resolved...I know how, but on the work PC I do not have all the rights...
My work PC is having issues with the network upgrade at the office in CA as well as a few software issues that are a quick fix if I permission. My Outlook does not connect to the server at work and my MS office does not like my laser printer. I can not print legal in Word or Excel. Can not download the updated driver since I do not have permission.
Solution... I have my home PC connected to the printer... Outlook..No solution until IT people reset everything on their end as well... going on 10 months... LOL
***ACTUAL PROBLEM***
Now my cable modem is driving me nuts. Every 6 or 7 days the modem times out and I need to reset. Which involves resetting both PC's and my Wireless router... DOH!
