View Full Version : Forum hangs Firefox.

Doesn't happen all the time. Just when it's most annoying. :mad:

Page loads about 9/10ths and then just sits there. Can't use any functions or switch to other open tabs. Have to quit out of the application and reopen.

Anyone else have this problem?

I don't have any problems with Firefox on this site, multiple tabs open and everything. Do you have the latest version?

I have Firefox 1.5.0.1 and have the same problem as stretch.

I can't restart Firefox unless I reboot.

I'm using 1.5.0.7 with no problems, other than my pain in the a** isp dropping out for a few minutes every hour or so. :wall:

I'm on 1.5.0.7. too. Maybe it's a Mac issue. :confused:

happens to me once in awhile as well, I go to another site and come back and it works fine usually

The last day and a half I haven't been able to load on my machine running firefox. (I'm on the in-laws machine) I know its my machine's problem but I just can't figure it out. fwiw rebeldad and slowlane wouldn't load either.
The only thing different done on my box was my wife's citrix appy, but that shouldn't matter, should it?
clearly it did something.
suggestions?
It won't come up at all, not firefox not ie nothin.

Could be some sort of virus/spyware issue, or are you using a mac?

uninstall and reinstall tony, maybe the wifes new appy crossed a wire somewhere....

Maye it's the new firewall the software has to keep the riff raff out? Looking at the posters in this thread, it's only half working :P

i ran adaware and it cleared up the problem, well that and ipconfig /flushdns and we're back in business. I was seriously going apey without this board! I knew it was very unlikely that it was the cisco thing (sorry, i mistyped in the other post.)
