Dr Phill - A Hack?

What does everyone think of this guy?

I'm watching him right now, and it seems to me that his show is one big infomercial. All the stories end with him promoting his new book.

Dr Phil was Opra's thing at one time. He is TRUELY a hack and really not worth the time on TV, but he...if he pays for his time..put him on at 3 AM!!

His show and that Crossing Over guy, John Edwards.....HACKS and full of S@$T.

Kerry/Edwards is even funnier though...but i wont go into that rant right now....

Alright, I haven't seen him in a long time, but I did like watching the show. I didn't like his "Dr. Phil families" or the wieght loss challenge... he looks like he's got a gut on him, wtf is he telling others how to lose it then?
His one plus, a sahm called me a few months, heck, might even be a year ago now, I don't remember, and said "Dr. Phil told a woman being a stay home parent is like working two full time jobs!" because the woman was worried she was going to be bored.

I use to watch him a while ago and I agree that some of it was entertaining and maybe informative.

But you gotta watch it now. It has gotten a lot worse. And I don't know how many times they cut away to his book propped up on a table.

the have one called 'brightness' but it don't work!

What kind of television shows do you have over there?

Are they any better than the ones we have here? We have a lot of "reality tv". Most of it is total crap.

Oz TV, like the movies and books, are mainly imports…
80% U.S. 15% U.K. and the remaining 5 % is home grown, uh make that 4% (the Aussies no longer claim Steve ‘the Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin).

Dr Phil had a company called Courtroom Science Inc. which Oprah hired when she was being sued by the beef industry. All the sudden he's sellin snake oil on tv. His show is all about phillin is wallet. It's like jerry springer with out the fights and alittle more teeth !!
