Connecticut GTG?

Hey guys, its been awhile just wondering if anyone wants to do anything....

I was thinking about going to Mystic Aquarium next week if anyone is interested. Probably Thursday AM, they open at nine...

Hey guys, Looks like this week will be a bust, but lets see if we can't get something going next week. My schedule has changed so Wednesday or Friday are good....

I was thinking about Mystic or Timbergyms....Or perhaps one of the museums,

Any takers?

Tuesdays & Thursdays still work the best for us, but Fridays are doable (Wednesdays are out).

We'll be away until next Wednesday, so next Thurs or Friday look okay. If I had to choose, I'd say Timbergyms, since we haven't done that yet.

I switched Amber to 3 day a week daycare. They only had MTTH, so I can still do stuff on Thursday, just without Amber....

Don, I just checked the SAHP calendar and they are doing Timbergyms at 1pm next Friday, so we could do it earlier or something else that we haven't done before?

Hey Guys, I think we might be hitting Kid City today.

As I was putting him to sleep last night we were talking about what we were going to do today and he just kept saying that he wanted to go there.

He hasn't mentioned it yet today, so I'm still waiting for the wife to get up and see what she thinks.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Ok, so we haven't gotten together in a while, with the warm weather coming, and having to keep the house extra clean these days, I'm up for anything. Mystic, KidCity, Steppingstones, ImagineNation, Panthorn Park, Wolcott Park, Jonathan's Dream in WH, etc, etc, etc,

I know we've talked about it, and I realize that Wednesday and Friday aren't the best days for GTG, but I can do Thursdays as well, just might not have Amr, depending on what we do.

I'm re-evaluating what we do on Mondays & Fridays...I've been bored with the playgroups for quite sometime now, but have been going because Ian liked it and his "friends" were there.

But it seems that he's getting tired of them too, as he's acting out WAY more than he used to. Either that or its the phase/age that we're going through now. dunno. :shrug:

So that leaves....well, that would make us available any day of the week except for wednesdays!

Ian tends not to sit still for more than a story or two. Do they have a kids section with puzzles, toys, etc?

Sorry Don, I logged off before your post. We had a good morning. After dropping Meaghan at preschool, we went to Kidcity for about 45 min, then to the library. They did 3 stories (15-20min), then had 40 min of free play. There was a craft project set up. Then they just played with the trucks, blocks, puppet theater etc. It was a good way to spend an hour. There is another 'drop-in' set for next Thurs. We will be there, so if you guys are looking for something to do, look for us there.

Sounds like a plan...we'll aim to go next thursday too! We were just at kid city on Monday, so this might have been a wee-too early for it, but next week should work out fine!

Do you guys know about this place, Fun Time Inflatables?

It looks like it's right around the corner from Kid City, and they have open playtimes, M, W, F. They're open late 11am - 4:30.

We're thinking about getting a big jumpy bounce house for Ian's party this year, so I'm definitely going to check it out soon.

The wife and I are taking the kids to Mystic Aquarium on Monday 4/16. We plan to be there for 10am. (Yes, Don, this is a change from my original vacation week plans). Anyway, that's where we'll be if anybody wants to meet up.

Hey fellas, my wife took the kids to Mystic a week ago, so we won't be heading back so soon.
But the NB Rockcats have a 10:30am start on Thurs. I am planning on taking the twins for a few innings. I know a ball game is not ideal for your little ones. But the cheap seats are only $5. And the website notes kids under 4 are free. So that's where we'll be.
