Man I'm getting excited. Wifey is due Dec 31. This is our first. I can feel him kicking and rolling so hard now that when my wife is spooning me in bed, he wakes me up! I will be taking leave basically the day he is born. This is all new and scary for me. In Canada I get 37 weeks unpaid leave. I am certainly hoping to get my own multimedia gig happening from home over the next few months so I don't have to come back to the 8 to 5 thing. It sucks. My wife will be working from home - doing data entry for home appraisals and maybe a couple months after baby arrives she'll go back to her cocktail waitress gig a couple night a week for xtra dough. I am very anti-social and enjoy cave dwelling - I have a recording studio in the basement and produce for film and TV (this is just starting to pay). The wife hated being cooped up and needs to get out. I am happy staying home and can't wait to be with the little guy all the time.
I am also scared shitless! This is such a big change on the horizon.
Anyway - enuff babbling. Just wanted to vent a little!
