So today, I found our Dryer was dead....not getting heat, its older than dirt....So I went to the local Sears scratch and Dent outlet, picked one that I didn't think was too bad, we get it all hooked up turn it on, smell of gas, turn it off disconnect, go to home depot, buy an elbow adapter, install that, hook everything up, move it into place, the closet door won't close, its too big...Take it back, get one thats smaller, the only one they had that was smaller, get back, it has different size gas connector so we need to go out and get that tomorrow...UGH....To top it all off, I was walking down the stairs and I can barely walk....

It seems to never fail. The jobs you think are going to be the quickest and easiest often turn into the biggest PITA.

Hope everything goes well tomorrow for ya.

It would be nice if more products were made with the same standard connectors. I hope tomorrow is better for you.

It just wouldn't be a DIY project w/o multiple trips to the hardware store!!

Thanks...I know, something that I thought would be so easy to do, has its problems....

Oh, and I still can't walk, so today should be interesting....At least I got my wife to take our older daughter to daycare...

No kidding! It almost always takes longer than what you would think it would.
