My wife works a lot and is very tired when she gets home. There are times that she will just go upstairs with the baby to put her to bed at 8pm and not even come back down. When I go to bed after 11pm I find that the light is on in the room and my wife stirs and wakes up.
Well... my parents were coming up from Florida to stay with us so I did some cleaning and went under our bed. There are like a dozen trashy romance novels under there. hmmmm!
I think she has been reading these all along while I thought she was sleeping.
Anybody's wife read them?

Ha ha, My wife reads romance novels all the time, I just tell her that she cant expect me to be like the guys in the books, especially since I am home all day with the kids. I do surprise her everyonce in a while with romantic dinners waiting for her when she comes home. Bubble baths, and I love to give her massages. If the wife is happy, then our whole household is happy.

Isn't that the truth! Words of wisdom my friend. 8)
And you thought she was tired!
Next time she goes up to put the little one to bed..wait for about a half hour or so, stroll upstairs with a nice single red rose and a lit candle.
The rest plays out if she is reading the "educational" books.!

I have thought about that! But I have actually sneaked up before and caught her pretending to be asleep with the light on. I am not that stupid and then I ask her a question and she pretends she is half asleep.

But, I am thinking along those lines.
The funny thing is I live downstairs and my wife lives upstairs. We have no bathroom on the 1st floor so the only time I go upstairs really is to go to the bathroom, go to bed, or put the kids to bed. My wife is pregnant and finds it convenient to live upstairs near the bathroom and bedrooms.
I am downstairs so I can be close to the REFRIGERATOR, COMPUTER, and TELEVISION SET :D :D :D

My wife says she used to read those ... that was before I knew her though. Now she reads theological stuff, mysteries and Star Trek books.

It's hard to compete romantically with Star Trek, with all that weightlessness and all. Not fair at all, I say.
