Short version...
My wife and I have separate logins for our Dell desktop. Since a few months ago, she cannot play video when logged in under her sign on. I have not had any problems, using Adobe flash player. When we attempt to download Flash under her log in, the site indicates the download was successful, but still no video. So why the difference? I guess I thought if you download the program to your computer, it is available for all users. I looked in the settings under 'set program access and defaults', but found no differences between us. Any ideas? Thanks

Does her logon have administator status?

Usually, only the 'system administrator' can install new software and set permissions for other users to run it.

They may be other issues as well. Adobe Flash pretty much killed my system a while back. It likes to grab parts of the registry used by other programs (in my case AutoDesk Inventor) and it even affects the Adobe Reader as well.

There ARE issues with this program and work-arounds are being 'worked-on', but it does create problems over here. It also affects Quicken, if you try to attach an image of a document to a ledger entry.

Haven't seen any 'updates' to fix my problems. Good Luck, sir!
