Game, Point, and Match

This Thanksgiving was spent with the in-laws. Friday morning, our 11 month old daughter woke up early and found her way into our bed. She obviously wasn't tired, as she kept slapping me in the head, saying "dada".

So, I rolled over and proceeded to tickle her, to which she proclaimed "Daddy no!" This evoked a smile from me and more tickling (I couldn't let her win). She pushed my hand away and exclaimed "I said no!" Considering this came from a baby who hasn't put two coherent words together, I was more than a little shocked. Maybe I won't have to worry when she starts dating. :lol:

Mine woke up one day, went to the fridge, got a pound of bacon, carried it down to our bedroom, and slapped me in the head with it to wake me up. :shock:

She didn't need a word to get her point across!

That is definitely a cute stage! Of course I am not too happy about all the slapping and trying to get their way stuff, but they are really learning to manipulate their environment! :D
