Just wondering how many here are tuning into the final game tomorrow night and who you feel will win? I am predicting the Flames will win.

I'm a huge hockey fan and just want to see some good hockey. I like the flames but also have a soft spot for Dave Andrechuck, 22 years and no cup, he needs one!

Go Flames............I really dont like Tampa Bay, probably only because they knocked the flyers out. But I always root for the underdog when a team I follow isnt in there. An I will be watching it tonight!!!

My father lives in Clearwater FL, which is near Tampa Bay and he is up on Vacation and has been watching the games so it is hard not to root for them. :D

Ouch. Sorry, man. That was a tough game to lose. I was hoping for a better game, something with at least 2 overtimes. Being a 'Canes fan (stop laughing!) I had to pull for Tampa since they represented the new powerhouse in the East, the Southeast division.
And now its all over. Guess I'll just sit here and wait for football season.

I hear ya, I hate it when a sport ends, I feel like there is a big void!!!! Football season seems like it is so far away :( I am not a big basketball fan, but might watch some of the finals hoping the lakers get beat. Guess it is all about the Phillies for now. GO PHILLIES!!!

You could always watch baseball. ugh!
I used to catch as many games as I could and travel to Boston to catch some games at Fenway but I kind of lost interest. 10 years ago I could tell you who played for who and what position they played. Today? Nope!

If its all about the Phillies, sports season is definitley over! :D
I enjoy going to baseball games and we have a local team here (Durham Bulls) that play pretty well. Trouble is, they are the AAA farm team for the awful Tampa Bay Devil Rays. That means as soon as a guy for Durham starts to show some promise, he gets called up!
Back to the hockey. I was surprised to see just how good a PLAYER Iginla is and just how inexperienced a CAPTAIN. You cant lose your cool, go berating the refs, and expect that they will ever listen to you again. But, man, can that guy ever play!
Niemennnenn is Finnish for idiot, isnt it?
Lacavalier finally became the kind of player people knew he could be. Funny how he's not on Team Canada. I dont understand that.
With the lockout looming, I'm sure that two low budget teams playing a 7 game series for The Cup is really going to hurt the league's chances for a salary cap. Given that of the final 4 teams, only Philly had a payroll in the top 25% of the league, and Calgary rolled thru the #1 #2, and #3 seeds in the West, I think the players are going to win the salary cap argument. Looks like its up to owners to stop inflating salaries in vain attempts to buy the champoinship. You cant BUY the Stanley Cup. It must be EARNED! Sorry, Ranger's fans.

Real quick...
Last night one of the reporters or announcers said "Dave Andreychuck has played 22 years without a cup."
My wife looked at me and said "He's got to be the toughest man in hockey."
Hilarious! :)
