Playing in a puddle.

My youngest one slipped outside with her rain boots. I am always telling her to stay out of puddles and mud holes. He-he, This time I got the camera and just let her enjoy herself. She jumped and splashed for about 20 minutes before she saw me. Than I got that look-:shock: " Oh,crap! I'm in trouble now." I just smiled and walked away. She finished playing and came in happy as child should be.

When it comes to kids and mud puddles I found the best thing to do is treat it like candy. Let them have it in moderation and at a time where no real harm is done.

By doing that it makes it less likely the uncontrollable puddle urge will hit at the worst time.....like on the way to a wedding where they are in the wedding party....and they go and dive head first into the soupy mess that brings such great joy to kids.

Great job with the 'spy' video. Those are the best captures! I'm not a big fan of puddles, since it means I have to change their clothes, but it's awesome when they're just having fun and have no worries. Thanks for sharing.

my son jumps in every puddle he can find, thanks to mom teaching him how to do it. its cute but he will jump in a puddle no matter what he is wearing and/or what the puddle is made of water mud water/oil mix in parking lot.
