Hi - I have been a Stay At Home Dad now for 21 months to our DS and finally decided to take some time over the holidays to check out other sites and see what there is. I usually lurk/post on www.todaysparent.com but sometimes the ladies "venting" can weigh a bit too heavy.

Hope to get to know a few of you a bit better over time and maybe share some ideas too.

Welcome aboard man... I hung out with a group of moms that had kids around Tara's age last year, once. After two hours of fasion, breastfeeding discussions, and "then what did he/she say..." I had had enough.
This is the best sahd's forum out there!
Glad you found it!

Welcome to the "He-man woman hater's" forum....NO GRiLS ALOUD!

Just kidding.... Actually, I think Louis wrote some lady's term paper a few months back.

No fashion, unless you count how to remove a beer stain from your favorite flannel shirt......

Extreme I is a work of art. I like Extreme II a bit better, but they are both way better than the crap that was III Sides to Every Story.

I saw them once, opening for Bon Jovi in Vegas. Pretty cool set. At the end, Bon Jovi dressed in these sequined outfits and top hats and walked across the stage while Extreme was still playing, it was pretty funny.

One of my favourate albums Jeff.... Extreme I

Sigh, showing my age now........ I remember that clip from the intro to Tough Guys (REO Speedwagon, Hi Infidelity, 1980ish?) Was good album in its time, but I have a soft spot for 80's cheese. I also remember seeing the Little Rascals episode that the clip came from in the endless reruns I watched as a kid. Better go tune up my walker.......

Actually, I was referring to the Little Rascals/Our Gang "He-Man Woman Haters Club".

And I have no idea who or what "Extreme I" refers to....

Tim E, your not that old, I saw Extreme open for David Lee Roth many years ago, also had Cinderella on that bill. Good concert expept diamond Dave forgot half the words to the songs.

Extreme was an awesome band from the late 80's early 90's. They came from Boston, and there most "known" song is "More Than Words." It was an acoustic song, with just the singer Gary Cherone, who later joined Van Halen for about 30 seconds, and the guitar player, Nuno Bettencourt, who kicked major ass. I really felt bad for the people that bought their album after listening to More Than Words, only one other song on the album even remotely sounded like it.
